This guide deserves nothing short of a standing ovation. It’s no secret that anger is often seen in a negative light, but this guide offers a fresh perspective by highlighting the potential power that can be harnessed from this emotion when it’s properly channelled.

Anger isn’t just an expression of frustration or disappointment, it’s a cry for help. It’s a signal that the person experiencing it is in some form of distress – they could be suffering, confused, feeling disempowered, and often, they’re feeling isolated. This guide opens up this often overlooked aspect of anger, shedding light on the underlying issues that give birth to such strong emotions.

Another crucial topic this guide addresses is the aftermath of anger outbursts. The feelings of shame that follow these episodes can be incredibly debilitating, casting long shadows over individuals’ lives. These feelings are not only devastating in the immediate aftermath, but can also have long-lasting effects, leading to further emotional turmoil.

What makes this guide even more commendable is its wide range of appeal. Parents and educators will find it invaluable in understanding and managing the anger of children and students. It’s not just a tool for personal use, but also a resource that can be used to foster healthier relationships and environments at home and in schools.

As a professional, I found several insights within its pages that I can incorporate into my practice. The lessons learned from this guide not only help us deal with our own anger but also equip us to help others navigate their emotions more effectively.

This guide is a beacon of wisdom for anyone seeking to understand and harness the power of anger, rather than fearing or suppressing it. It’s more than a guide; it’s a roadmap to emotional well-being and resilience.

I applaud this guide. Anger gets a bad reputation, however, it is a powerful emotion once channelled correctly. Anger is also telling us that someone is suffering, confused, disempowered and often alone. Anger outbursts bring feelings of shame which can be devasting and long lasting. This guide will help parents and educators too. I shall also use some of the insights here in my profession.

This book discusses teen anger in an empathetic, non judgemental way. It aims to make the reader understand where it may be coming from, what triggers it and how to deal with those triggers.
I particularly like the section about foods that may help calm us down and allow us to control our anger. I also liked the success stories in there. Quite motivating.

I think the chapter on how to deal with conflicts with parents is very important. It could potentially save a teenager from having a failing relationship with their parent.

I found this book very useful, as the guidance it presents has significantly helped me with my teenagers to control their anger issues. I was not expecting the book to be so comprehensive and cover so much ground and specific topics. I particularly liked the chapter “Defusing the Bomb,” as it taught me techniques to control their emotions and outbursts in a manner that doesn’t require escalation or me losing my cool as well. I also appreaticed the inclusion of real-life case studies, as these provided solid context of what can be acheived if the said techniques are applied. Overall, excellent book!
