Fantastic book, a must have for any artist or illustrator. So many detailed images to look over and study. great for wildlife enthusiasts too.

I had been looking for ready-to-frame colour illustrations or a illustrated guide to bird, to use as art. This works out as less than a penny per illustration! The images are on either side of the pages, so aren’t cut out, one-use images – it’ll take a touch more work for me by photocopying them but I can use them again and again and again.
They’re really beautiful and varied, and the fact that they’re black and white means they can be left as it, coloured realistically, unrealistically or with abstract splashes of colour. Love it!

This book is an excellent compilation of black and white illustrations of animals. The book is much thicker in terms of pages than I expected which was a welcome surprise. The delivery was prompt with Prime. The only downside was that the back cover of the book was damaged / ripped which was disappointing.

I bought this book for reference use as I am artist who likes to draw animals. This book did not disappoint. There are hundreds of fabulous images of all sorts of animals, some of which I had never heard of! If you love animals, or love art this book is a must. Go on, buy it!

My second copy of this book. The first fell apart from over use! One slight moan – the spine had obviously been damaged somewhere along the line and has a tear in it, so product not perfect. However, the actually content of the book is invaluable to an artist and art teacher like myself.
