Starting off with distinct chapters on Christianity and Islam, the book then continues with a comparison between the two. The subject matter is fairly complicated and you really will need a good fact checking book to trudge through this complicated subject.

This is a substantial working through of key beliefs and themes from these two monotheistic faiths. The presentation is accessible and engaging. The learner should be drawn into the heart of the matter, consolidating what they have learned previously. There is also a question on ethical issues and how the faiths address them.
The structure these books use is knowledge (key units of knowledge, clearly explained, some fascinating sources and illustrations), Retrieval (encouraging learning and revision), and Practice (engage with practice questions as you would find in the exam).
    A recommended resource.

I found AQA GCSE Religious Studies A: Christianity and Islam Knowledge Organizers incredibly comprehensive and informative. These knowledge organizers cover a wide range of topics involving beliefs and practices, from sin and salvation in Christianity to the Five Pillars of Islam.
The inclusion of thematic studies also allows for a well-rounded understanding of various themes through the lenses of both religions. I highly recommend these knowledge organizers as an invaluable resource to anyone studying these subjects at GCSE level.

I bought this revision book for my son who picked PRE for his GCSE. With exams coming up he asked me to get this for him. This book contains both revision and practise questions which was exactly what he needed. It has everything you would need on Islam and Christianity which is the topics for this years pre. Overall I’d definitely recommend it for GCSE students for revision and help with preparing for exams and achieving excellent results.
