Beautiful pictures. Quality of paper could be improved

This is a nice reference book for drawing from nature.

I ordered 2 of these books, one for me and the other for a friend. Although parcelled together in Amazon’s usual stiff card packet, one of the books had been mistreated at some stage, the cover being bent in various places. I kept the damaged copy and gave the other as a gift. For £7 it wasn’t worth the trouble of sending it back for a replacement – but I would not have given that copy as a gift.
I’ve seen other similar comments about the condition – so something needs addressing here!

Great quality books delivered when they said they would.

Lovely book but note it is not in colour.

While the compilation of plates is interesting, the fact that they lack colouring makes them not as appealing as one would have thought.

This is an incredible book revealing the talents of an important man everyone should know.

Excellent description of art forms, patterns and outlines in nature. Well illustrated, easy to follow and lots of examples to examine.
