This was my first read by this author and it certainly won’t be my last – wowzers, I loved it, inhaled it, could not put it down, was completely hooked on the sexy dark hot and thrilling storyline!!
Syn is a girl with a mysterious and atrocious dark past, much of which she can’t remember, yet the scars on her body tell her something horrible happened. She lost her parents in an accident and a fire burnt her horribly. She was raised on a secluded farm by and adopted by Alana, winning a scholarship to the very prestigious Darlington Founders University, something she never expected.
Syn is nothing like most of the kids that go to this University, who are loaded with money – she has to work in a bar during the week trying to make ends meet. This is where she sees something that she wasn’t supposed to, and her whole life changes as a consequence…..
Tristan, Hendrix and Constantine are the heirs to the council, brought up with violence and raised to take over from their fathers, who they hate, but know better than to go against. They were at the bar where she was working at witnessed something in the alley and was shot at. Tristan decides she must move in with them to be protected, not what Syn wants at all, but she is really in no position to argue…..
All three are trained ruthless killers, all lethal predators, alpha, domineering, hot AF….. she should be very afraid of them, but finds herself drawn to them instead. She’s not allowed to go anywhere without one of them escorting her, which drives her mad. She’s also being stalked by 2 Russian twins on campus, mortal enemies of Tristan, Hendrix and Constantine, who won’t tell her what is going on…..
Hooked from the start, this was a riveting read that had me on the edge of my seat! Loved the twists and turns in the plot, the little snippets of info we get about Syn’s background. As for the 3 men, holy hell, they are all hot and broken in their own way, very different from each other, but are brothers, who have found their missing piece in Syn….. who could choose between these 3?!
Really looking forward to the next book in this series – will definitely be looking into the other books by Jennilynn based on this read, fantastic!

What a brilliant start to a new trilogy! I absolutely loved reading this book. Syn, is so strong, she really is like a phoenix. I cannot wait for the mystery around her to unravel and she finally will find out her past.
The guys, Tristan, Constantine and Hendrix are definitely complex characters. So much darkness surrounds them. To the outside world they are powerful, rich and gorgeous but behind closed doors they are simply tools to their families greed. Bound by the shackles of their families legacies.
I love the guys individually and together they are spectacular! They each are different in many ways which help’s to develop their individual relationships with Syn.
They are drawn to Syn but nothing is as it seems and I loved the way Jennilynn weaved her magic over me, making me keep reading, needing more!
I highly recommend reading this book, I cannot wait for book two to release. It’s a why choose so she has more than one love interest. It has some darker elements so check tw.

Wow…. what a fantastic trilogy this series will be.
I loved Tristan, Hendrix, Con and Syn’s (Synthia) story.
When will the boys own up to Syn about the past? Will their friendship and love survive?
I can’t wait for the next book, Beautiful Sinners to see who survived the shooting, such a brilliant, thrilling storyline.

Okay, wow!!! First things first, if you are looking for a cute, sweet romance, this is not the book for you. But if you’re looking for a dark, gritty, heart in your throat story featuring merciless anti-heroes, then look no further.
I finished this book in less than a day and it stayed with me. The cliffhanger had me on the edge of my seat. Now, let’s talk about the men (I know, that’s why you’re reading this review ????), meet Tristan, Hendrix, and Constantine. They are the sons and future leaders of an underground secret society; ruthless, dangerous, sexy, and extremely possessive anti-hero’s, each with their own vulnerability and deeply ingrained scars that they attempt to disguise.
Syn is our heroine, and she is starting her first year at college. Her traumatic history has left her with bodily scars and burns. Because of how horrible the experience was, she can only recall fragments of it. Syn was a fantastic and beautiful character on the inside and out, and what happened to her shattered my heart.
The chemistry between the mmc’s and the heroine is off the charts. Not only was this story ???? It also had heaps of emotion and action that struck me throughout. This author truly understands how to captivate readers with her writing. The suspenseful and jaw-dropping plot line kept my eyes riveted to my kindle. The migraine from staying up all night instead of sleeping for work the next day was truly worth it.
Overall I absolutely loved this book and I can not wait for the follow up!!
