Brought for my Nan’s birthday, needless to stay she was very pleased, being a lifelong royal. Having had a quick peek myself, the pages were nice and glossy and the photos seemed clear enough to my eye. All in all a nice collection of photos for any fan of the royal family.

i love this book how arthur catches the royal family unaware. the photos are so natural. he is also a gifted photographer. would say buy this as a gift for older family members. or for people who think the family are stuck up they are not. they are the best ambassadors for this country and history.

Sadly perhaps my expectations were too high. I assumed as the book was written by a well known photographer that they would be excellent. I’m sure the originals were great but in the book they are misty and not as glossy as i hoped for. Disappointing.

Arthur Edwards is a big character who is an important link between the Royal Family and the public.
He is much respected by the Royals and enjoys a level of access to them which very few have. He is also a brilliant and instinctive photographer who is still working hard at the age of 82.
