Joan Collins at her best
by Bjorn Andre Widvey
If you have read anything written by Joan Collins before, books and articles included, there is nothing new in this book.
Only difference is, you get different versions of some of the same stories in this book.
Leaves you wondering which ones are the real ones…

I’ve read her other books and enjoyed them and the subtitle “tales I tell my friends” made me think Dame Joan might be about to spill the beans on stars she has hitherto kept quiet about. So Ive been looking forward to getting this book.
She doesn’t spill any beans. The stories in this one are all a bit boring.
Joan has a quick wit, but none of that really comes over in this.
The book feels like a huge tribute to her husband Percy TBH.
I wanted behind the scenes tales from her decades in showbiz.
There aren’t any.
Save your money.
There aren’t even any photos in it.
Very disappointed and it has only taken a few hours to read.
