Love the All Blacks? Want to know how they have become the greatest sports team on the planet? This book lifts the lid, it’s a brilliant, brilliant history told in the players words. Some amazing stories and insights, I particularly loved the stuff from the 1980s and 1990s which was when I first started watching them play and its so good to get the point of view of the players’ experience on all these matches that I can so vividly remember. The book goes from the 1905 Originals all the way up to the present day and I can’t think of a legendary All Black that hasn’t got his thoughts in here. Absolutely fascinating, a brilliant read. Five stars.

Great coffee table book – love the retro black and white pictures. The style of conversational read brings the journey of each match to life. Shame a tear in one of the pages at the spine
