The book is written from the perspective of the main character, the young gay teen, Jackson Nash. A self-confessed loner and study freak, Jackson starts being drawn into the limelight at school when his friend, Leezuh, volunteers them for extra activities.
Coming out to his family and friends a few years ago, Jackson must now face some interesting and exciting events as his life begins to change. With real life situations, plenty of laughs and quite a few tears along the way, there are some memorable scenes and there are moments when Jackson’s grandmother steals the show.
