This book is just an amazing journey into the art of acting. So insightful and so inspiring! Takes away the blockages and gives you a new beautiful perspective in your technique. I would recommend 100%.

I left this review off because I wanted to soak in everything that is said and this took a couple reads. Not because it’s a ‘tough-read’, quite the opposite in fact, but because it’s sort of my acting bible. I go to chapters for inspiration and for clarity, for advice and more. I loved this book because it gets away from ‘techniques’ acting books and gets to the crux of you and this of course is where we must start. I could feel Anthony through the book too, which makes it a gorgeous personal work of text. This is also found unique. So in short, it’s a must have book for actors and I’ll keep telling my actor friends about it until they slap me. Which has happened. So really the book should come with a warning.

This book is simply a must have for any actor you can’t be an actor and not have this book! Simply brilliant it’s making me change a lot (in a good way) as an actress and as a person. THANK YOU TONY!

Not in a million years did I expect to cry. I was emotional during the book but a section at the end really got me and I was in full blown tears. My 9th yr acting and I can relate to this book so much. My Q’s were answered and I now know that I have been doing all the right things, hence my career moving forward. Just to read it in black & white was so powerful. This book for me was the icing on the cake and during this book, guess what? I got an audition and smashed it!! I had been manifesting it for so long then the book just helped me release my mind and set me free. Dramatic, I know but that is what happened! I will read it again and keep referring back to it, if I feel the need to. Good luck with your journey and Thank you Anthony Meindl for your inspiration and knowledge!!

Another excellent and honest book from Tony.
A little easier to read than the first 2 books.
Straight forward text based book – don’t expect any photos!
To the point wise and honest words.
Great to dip into and something will be poignant and relevant.
It will probably be a one sitting – easy read.

This book is supportive and encouraging for aspiring actors. It’s not about acting technical but more about mentality needed to stay in the tough business, which might be even more important.

This is a wonderful book that allows actors to cut through the crap, stop allowing your “stuff” to get in the way and just book the f***ing job! This is a very easy read and offers many insights as to why actors are trying too hard to control situations in an audition when in actuality no-one is control. This can stop us from getting on with our day-to-day lives and just living and being rather than putting everything on hold. Anthony Meindl advises us to simply let go and let be. When you start to do this your life will effectively change.

It’s an easy quick read with some great advice and some good quotes from actors that have been researched. The author is excellent on youtube and in some ways this feels like an extended written youtube vlog. Nothing wrong with that but don’t expect anything mega substantial
