A few were selected for extraordinary models looking for extraordinary challenges. These are some of the most popular poses for models and photographers. All images are organized and numbered for ease of use and collaboration. Each image occupies a full page for easy viewing. This book is really bad. Most of the poses is looking really bad. It’s amateur. Nothing like budoir. The models look like feels really bad front of the camera. Amateur poses. The first couple of poses and I felt like cheap adult photograpy. Not quality. I’m really sorry D.D. Smith, but this is what I think. I don’t recommend.

…but really just a little tame. Depends what you’re looking for, I suppose, but I found it a bit predictable.

Most of these poses look like someone who has never been in front of the camera before has just tried to put themselves in as many unnatural positions as possible. I don’t think I saw a single combination of camera angle and pose that made anyone’s ass look good. This simply isn’t a good book and there arezeeo instructions or explanations on how to improve a pose and work with translating something from 3D to 2D. Add on some sexist comments about not being too sexy in case your partner gets jealous and I’d rather eat this book than read it again.

I’ve read a lot of books on boudoir photography, some good, some bad. This is an extremely good book. Why? It shows you basic poses with minimal props on a plain black background thus emphasizing the pose, and this is what this book is about. You will find many interesting poses based around a simple prop, the mark of a truly professional photographer. Other reviewers may have been looking for something else in this book, but this is definitely a good reference for posing a model.
