I read *a lot* of Hockey Romance and honestly this might be my favourite. It’s perfect. The characters are loveable, it’s heart wrenching, hilarious and has fantastic spice. Callahan might actually be the dream book boyfriend – a guy who reads your spicy books aaaand sets you lose in the bookstore to buy anything you want? Perfect????
I stayed up until 4am to finish it because I didn’t want to put it down that’s how much I loved it.

I read A LOT so certain books stick out to me more than others. This book really stuck out to me. I enjoyed it sone much. I read it within 2-3 hours because I loved it so much (I’m a fast reader anyway). The book has me in my knees. 5 stars ????????. If you love hockey romance then you will definitely love this book. It’s more spicer than I expected but I can’t complain ????????

This story was a pleasant way to pass a few hours or in my case a few days. The sex scenes were way to over the top and too descriptive for my liking as in the squirting and could have done without the sex scene where the heroine was having her period. (gross)

All Cooper has wanted is to join the NHL, even if he did have to put it off whilst he went to college like his dad wanted. Cooper can have his pick of puck bunnies, but things have started to dry up for him in that department which is starting to affect his game until he meets Penny. Who would have guessed she was the Coach’s daughter. Penny is supposed to stay away from hockey players after what happened in her past, but she has a list. THE LIST. All she needs is a willing partner that she can trust to get her through it and that’s where Cooper comes in. He helps her with the list, and in return she helps him to get the captain position.
I adored the first time but this had me in love. It had the hockey guy who was a player but secretly was the biggest cinnamon roll. The coach’s daughter who wasn’t going to put up with the hockey players cheeky antics but also had a spicy side and wasn’t ashamed of it. Add in that they both bond over their love of books (HE BUYS HER ALL THE BOOKS SHE WANTS), they help each other with their past/current trauma, and they become cat parents!! I ate this book up and was so scared to finish it because I just want more of this world. I loved meeting some new side characters and if I could have a book for each one then I 100% would. I loved the glimpse we got of hints for book three (Seb my baby is finally getting his book!!). Knowing we get to see more of Cooper and Penny in the next book gives me all the feels!! These two were both dealing with personal demons and to see them confront and over come them together was everything I needed. I just wish we got more at the end but I get why. Bring on Seb’s story!!

This was a page turning read and an enjoyable piece of escapism. The actual plot and tropes are nothing new, but the raunch factor is higher than the norm. Some of the spice was a little OTT for me though I’m sure other readers will lap this up.

I wasn’t a huge fan of the first book but this one had me weak at the knees. It was so great to see the female lead be so confident in her sexuality for a change rather than the usual shy girl type. I loved cooper and penny the perfect mix of sweet and spice and my god the spice in this book was exquisite

While it’s safe to say I absolutely LOVED the first book, this second book has blown me away.
The spice in this book is just wow. It doesn’t overpower the story at all and showcases Penny’s character development so nicely! Copper is just the most Golden Retriever boyfriend with the filthiest mouth. Penny was such a strong character, she took charge of her exploration after a traumatic past. I can’t get enough of their relationship! They were so supportive and patient with each other and that ending definitely had me in happy tears!
I can’t wait for Seb & Mia’s story next!
