Very informative, needs to be read slowly and repeatedly ! Especially if you are a slow learner. I would have appreciated slightly larger print. Overall a very good bridge guide .

I have only recently started playing bridge and this book is very helpful.
I enjoy the “for Dummies” format and this book is no exception. The layout of the text and figures is clear and suitable for a beginner.

After attending a one day Bridge course our teacher told us not to read/buy this book as it teaches the American points system which is different to the UK. Unfortunately, I had already purchased and the return window closed.

I was reading another book to understand how to play Bridge which I was finding quite confusing until I purchased Bridge for dummies 4th edition by Eddie Kantar. Within reading the first 20 pages I had grasped a good understanding of how to play the game. Now this book is over 400 pages so I have a way to go yet and the book goes really into depth about everything so hopefully in my retirement I can become a good bridge player.

Everything you would want to know! Pick up better playing strategies as go on. Lots of ‘tip’ sections

This book takes a lot of the mystery away from the game but does it with humour (very necessary ) I would recommend it ! Bridge is still hard but at least it makes me laugh !
