I really hate leaving reviews but occasionally I feel I owe the author something for the hours of enjoyment that they have provided. Adrian Cousins is one of the handful who qualifies. All emotions are captured but best read in sequence as time travel is confusing enough anyway. His other books are excellent also. More power to his elbow as my old dad would say

Well written with bundles of twists as time lines cross or change.
Proper page turner with interesting characters and inventive use of time travel.
Always feel the need to buy the next book in this series as soon as I read one I need to find out what happens next.

Took a while to get in to the story, seemed a bit slow to start. Then I couldn’t put it down and enjoyed it right to the end. Looking forward to the next installment with Beth at the helm of the TTBC…

The story is brilliant and the detail of things from the past must have taken a lot of research and skill to add to this story, it is well deserving of 5 stars and more.

I love time travel, thrillers & interesting characters. This book (& the whole Jason Apsley series) delivers it all. Funny, exciting , emotional & very nostalgic. Really enjoyed this book & thoroughly recommend it.

Ok, let’s begin. Overall, the whole series was excellent. Yes, there are a good number of spelling errors throughout, one of my pet hates with published works, however we can look past that. Onto the last book. Starts off going over past events and people a little too much. These books can’t be read in isolation, so rather than recommending you read all the previous books, I would say it is essential. Suffice to say, we know the characters and their complicated relationships by now so let’s get into the details that we are all desperate to know. The final book moves at a decent pace, occasionally getting a little to meandering, echoing Georges thought processes. All in all, I’ve enjoyed getting to know Jason and the gang. Would I recommend this? Absolutely! Read them, enjoy them and if I had to sum them up….you know what I’m gonna say….
