Whether you love him or hate him, you have to agree with 95% of the points in this book. As usual he puts his humour in his writing with another great book. Easy to read for lengthy periods or just as a pick up read to pass a few minutes.

It seems some reviewers read this despite not liking Jeremy Clarkson then gave it a bad review. If you hate cricket don’t go to a match and then complain because you didn’t enjoy it, this collection of articles was originally published in a Sunday newspaper and is classic Clarkson. He says “cyclists should be put in prison” and other outrageous things but that is how he is. I personally do not take him at his word, he is being facetious.

Yes I know he can be a bigot and a loudmouth and he gets on people’s nerves, including my own, but I can’t help myself from laughing. I know it’s wrong but life’s too short and there’s not much to laugh at. I haven’t read it yet but I know what I’m getting into????

Took this away on holiday with me and thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Have got other books by Jeremy and can hear his voice while i read. Not as good as his farm books in my opinion hence the 4* but then thats because he writes those books with more humour, in my opinion. If you like Jeremy and his views on the world you will like this book. Great to pick up for half hour and have a laugh and nod your head in agreement on the weird world we live in . Its well written and makes me chuckle. The chapters are short, which i like and apparently they are copies of his column in the newspaper. ( 2018 most of chapters are from) But as i dont read papers its all new to me. I intend to buy more of his books.

I loved the way Clarkson writes, a mixture of irrelevance and wit with details of the human condition. I can’t imagine the powers that be would enjoy his writing, but I think the books should be required reading. And just like in school they’d be required to submit book reports.
