I love this book it’s another broken down step by step guide as the last book but this time all about the confusing world of social media, wholesale and websites. This is something I can struggle and stress about and you’ve made it so clear and easy to understand. I will read it over and over through the steps as my business progresses this is my 2nd bible, I love how clear and simple it is to find what u need an answer to and even how u broke down the websites and all the costs. Its so easy to look through and find where you are at with your business and how to go forward to make it better. 5 stars ???? ????????????????

Are you now in position to start looking to embark on selling your beautiful candles but have no idea where to turn as the concept of business and marketing are all too abstract and confusing?
Then I’d encourage you to take stock of this exceptional sequel to Grace Holmes’ Candle Making Business 101.
If you loved Candle Making Business 101 (which clearly details the technical side of making candles) then it should follow that you’d want to dive into this sequel, right? Absolutely.
However, if you still haven’t gotten around to reading 101 – which, by the way, I recommend you should – but have the process of candle making in the bag then you can choose to skip right ahead to 102.
Prior to 102’s release I was desperately researching the web for tips and tricks to making it in the candle business. Flick-flacking between webpages and various YouTube sources I soon became dazed and confused – brain drain – the result of information overload.
Burning the wick at both ends in my pursuit of knowledge, suddenly I saw a light at the end of the tunnel when I discovered this fine gem of a read which unraveled and filtered out all the unnecessary jargon that had previously filled my bewildered mind. I now felt more grounded, assured that all the information I’d been searching for was all contained within this one book. Mission complete. Success.
The author, Grace, covers everything you could wish to learn about getting ahead in the candle business, covering themes such as brand strategy, driving growth of your candle sales, attracting customers via effective marketing tools, sales revenue and so much more.
I discovered so much that I ever wanted to know about social media marketing platforms such as TikTok, Pinterest, Etsy, Instagram etc. Previously, these were unchartered territories, akin to the exploration of foreign lands but 102 quickly demystified them.
Further, I was delighted to find that there was a whole section dedicated to Product Photography, a subject which I feel strongly impassioned about, but, again not quite fully knowing the ropes.
Prior to 101 and now 102, I had read umpteen so-called bestselling books on the business of candle making. On perusal I found these bitterly disappointingly, a downright a waste of money since they focused purely on the technique of making candles along with a few business tips peppered in for good measure. 101 / 102 on the other hand are the reverse and are most definitely worth their weight in salt and the selling price is nothing in exchange for precious nuggets of wisdom.
What’s more, is that unlike so many other books on the market, the author sincerely engages with her readers and clearly has their best interests at heart.
I can honestly say that as I navigate through the pages of Grace’s books I feel personally encouraged and guided by my own personal mentor through the entire candle business venture. After reading 102, I now feel ignited as my spark has returned and have an enthusiasm unlike never before.
As budding chandlers and newbies to the candle making industry, I’m sure that all her future readers will feel supported and encouraged in the same way as I.
