Many of the carols are from traditional sources, rearranged, as well as carols written especially for this volume by composers including William Walton, Benjamin Britten, Richard Rodney Bennett, and William Mathias.

Book was not in as good a condition as I expected – spine was detached from much of the book itself – and it was quite old and tatty.
I am not dissatisfied enough to be bothered to return it – and I needed it very quickly for a concert.

I had a previous copy of ‘Fifty Carols for Christmas and Advent’ and it lasted for over 30 years. I am so glad that this copy is much larger than my old one as with ever increasing age it is much clearer to read the music.

This item was purchased for use by my wife, who attends a local choir. I do not read music but can attest to the quality of the printing and binding. For any one looking for such a carol book I can thoroughly recommend it.

Purchased having joined a new choir that has an expanded repertoire beyond the old faithful Carols for Choirs 1. This version is slightly larger than previous ones I have used but still a good size for easy reading whilst not taking up too much pew room.

I have sung carols from this book for many years and still find the arrangements the best I have sung. This, in conjunction with Carols for choirs 1 are just brilliant for most choirs of a reasonable standard to get their teeth into. I would highly recommend this book.

There were not enough carol books to go around so I bought my own. Same carols and numbering as the older book so no confusion at rehearsals. Arrived in plenty of time.
