My grandson loves drawing his own comic strips, complete with characters he’s invented, so these books are right up his street, they give him great ideas, especially with the different types of comic strips in the book, he not one for reading much, but he loves Daves books, and this encourages him to read more.
The book is hard back and easy to read. It is in comic book format, in several different styles, most are colour but some are black and white.
See video for examples.

My daughter loves these books. She has been asking about the new one for months. It arrived today and she is half way through already. It did not disappoint.
This is from a child that is dyslexic and really struggles to read and normally hates anything to do with reading.
