Good and fun way to help remember words especially if you are a visual learner. Clear pictures with lots of detail with numbers to match the wide and useful vocabulary on the opposite pages. Also like that pinyin and characters included.
I especially like that there are example sentences and revision pages.
Well thought out with explanations of the basics of the Chinese language as an introduction.
Very good value for money.

LingoMaster sent me a valuation/digital copy of the book… and after taking a look at it, it was a no-brainer to buy the paperback version.
It gives you a new way to memorise vocabulary with pictures rather than a dull wordlist which is often the case.
In addition to colouring in pictures, I’ve made notes next to the items I’m working on memorising. So far, I haven’t been through many items as I like to take my time, but from the ones I’ve coloured in and worked on, I seem to recall them which is a good sign.
LingoMastery also provide excellent support by email. A friendly chap named Oscar is always on the pulse with questions I’ve had.
A thumbs up from me, I’m pleased with this purchase and have no regrets. I’m praising this book so much it almost seems like I work from them… but I have no affiliation and they’ve not given me anything for this. I just think these guys deserve credit.

I like this book. It is more than just a colouring book with Chinese names added. There are good guides to Pinyin & Chinese grammar at the start of the book. My only reservation is that some of the words featured are probably a bit unusual for someone who is starting out. You are unlikely to need to know the words for Komodo Dragon or gingerbread cookies while learning, so you have to be selective about what you try to remember (If you’ve a brain like mine you end up remembering the words that are least useful). One of the words illustrated was arugula & I didn’t even know what that was in English! (Turns out to be an Americanism for Rocket – the salad leaf). There are some exercises to test what you have learned, and these can also be helpful for learning how the words are built up, which is a useful tool when confronted with something new.

Reviews must be an honest reflection of the views of the reviewer, so here goes. In general I really like this book but I am worried that the title might lead some adults to miss out, thinking that it is aimed at children. Thankfully it is not, just an unfortunate choice, in my opinion. The basic section at the start of the book is very good, especially the section on tense and aspect of verbs, and don’t forget to read the conclusion because that has some useful comments. The main part of the book has a plethora of words and sentences in Simplified Mandarin Chinese characters (although I haven’t managed to find any statement that simplified rather than traditional characters are used in this book – not a criticism of the use of simplified characters but rather of not noting it somewhere on the title page), Pinyin and English, and divided among many themed chapters of words and associated drawings. A number of exercises with answers are also included. If you can ignore the colouring-book aspect, buy it. You won’t regret it.

This book helps me memorise the words as well as characters in Chinese with its brilliant pictures, which you can also colour, making the journey even more fun. Totally recommend it!

I love this book, it’s so much fun and I’m learning a lot from it. Would definitely recommend this and any other books that come from Lingo Mastery ????

I love this book. It’s a colouring book of all different things that are numbered and then the page next to the colouring page has all the items you have just coloured written in Chinese so you can learn the words. It’s fun to do, it’s helping me learn Chinese and it’s very therapeutic. It’s set into all different sections so it’s also useful if wanting to look up a particular word. I definitely recommend.
