I love this book! Really quick and tasty food with recipes that are easy to follow, which is a real attraction as I don’t ordinarily make Chinese food. We have tried the chicken chow mein and chili bean king prawn noodles, so far, and they’ve been a big hit with everyone in the household. Buying it has also made me take a trip the local Chinese supermarket and it has made me wonder why it has taken me so long to do so. We can’t wait to try out more of the recipes.

Start at the beginning and read the intro notes, great advice to be found here. Recipes so clearly described. Might benefit from more photos of finished meals. Having said that there are plenty on line. Excellent choice of recipes.

I can’t hide the fact that I’m a big fan of Kwoklyn he’s a down to earth guy I love his first two books the second of which ‘The veggie’ book has really helped get more veg into our diets
So was really looking forward to seeing this book published the photographs are superb
It’s written in a ‘no nonsense’ practical way
I have bent the corners of many pages in this book ready to use – and having heard from another source who was lucky enough to get a preview copy will be cooking the lemon chicken this week as well as least four more dishes when I will report back with pics !!
Well done Kwoklyn a super edition to my ever growing cookery library that will no doubt spend a lot of time being used in the kitchen
