The music is fine, I was just expecting the bass to use finger system 2 through 5, not 1 through 4, maybe it’s a European way and the bass diagram at the beginning uses the letter H instead of B and B instead of Bb. Noticed it’s a Polish book printed in English. Would have been helpful to know in the description. Good book though for any who want to learn this way.

The book is no more than an exhaustive study of major scales and arpeggios. It is based on 19th century classical piano methods – indeed half of the book is an adaptation of part of Hanon’s “The Virtuoso Pianist”. If you have the commitment, the exercises are, I think, an excellent training for fingering and hand position in both hands. But who is going to work through all these exercises before playing in a minor key? Or playing a scale in 3rds , for example? Who indeed is the book for?

I am a beginner on the accordian. I expected this to help me practice but it’s unclear if you use chord bottons or play the notes. What the scales are ? I know most people may inseratand this but just left me confused. A few pages more of clear direction and I expect it may have been helpful. Maybe later inmy musical path it may be.
