I have 8 other books, but my baby doesnt like this one. The The Picture of the earth face crying makes my baby sad and cries too.

    by Sue Dough Nym

I asked the one year-old recipient of this book for a review. She looked up from the book with discomfort. “Ma-ma-ma,” she uttered as she pointed to the light flickering on the ceiling. It was not an environmentally-friendly lightbulb and she knew this. The book had opened her eyes to the power we have as individuals to care for the planet and use green energy. She waved her finger: “da da da!” Indeed, it is not the role of all individuals to solve the climate crisis. It is only in viewing ourselves as one with our fellow humans that we can change the industries and policies that are now so clearly unsustainable.

She looked down to the book and clinged to it. “Da da,” she explained, with a great passion, with hope for a communitarian desire for ecological wellbeing. She pulled the book to her chest and looked back up with a growing smile. “Na na ma ma.” It is time for a (nappy) change.
