essentail book for any climber. very clearly written, the phots are very clear and really enhance the descriptions of how to deal with any common climbing injury. After having climbed for oevr 15 years, i have read many publications and this book is by far the best of the lot. wish i had had access to this 15 years ago.

Style over substance. No lower body exercises! This is ridiculous as the legs are used predominantly in climbing. There are lots of good quality photos but very little text, make or break, by Dave McCloud is far better. The seller However was first class and I would buy from them again.

This is an excellent book and I would recommend it to all keen climbers. It sets out how to recover from the most common climbing injuries in clear steps. What I particularly like however are the simple maintaince excercises and technique tips, which help to prevent injuries in the first place.

I was following The Climbing Doctor blog, but I wanted to learn more. So I decided to buy the book. Dr Vagy’s book is not only for every climber but also for SC coaches, Physiotherapists and Personal trainers working with climbers. It is a must to have this book on your shelf! Read it before you go climbing to avoid injury – you will have more money and time for climbing 😉
