This book is the best I have read on Coeliac disease and the most comprehensive so far on the market. The author has taken a great deal of care to go into all the details of what coeliac disease is, the symptoms, what to do once you are diagnosed and every single little detail that you won’t find in any other coeliac book currently on the market. Having been recently diagnosed, I found this as a very precious read. I strongly recommend it. It is also easy to read without complicated jargon. An absolute must if you want to know about coealic disease because you are a coeliac or if a member of your family or a friend has this auto-immune illness.

My partner has recently been diagnosed with Coeliacs disease and after many frustration trips back and forth between the doctors and hospital he needed more information about the condition. He isn’t one for reading solid blocks of text cover to cover so I needed to find the right book for him! This book doesn’t provide an information over load, but it provides enough information to get you started and answer many of those questions that crop up on a daily basis after first being diagnosed. Each chapter is split into very clear and concise manageable sections, which makes the book very easy to pick up for short periods and flick through to find what you are looking for. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who has recently been diagnosed and for those friends and family members who wish to raise their awareness of this life changing condition. It also contains a very useful section at the back and lists groups, organisations and retailers to contact. My partner said himself this was a very good book, hence why I am writing this review!
