£4.70
In a competition of win or lose, love was the one game they never saw coming.
Nate
As a star football player at Las Vegas University, I’m used to getting what I want on and off the field.
But when I meet Kayla Sanchez, everything changes.
She’s passionate with a fire in her eyes and a commitment to help others.
She’s also stubborn, opinionated and sexy AF. Despite our rivalry, there’s an undeniable chemistry between us and with each steamy exchange, I want her more.
Kayla
I’ve always stood up for what I believe in, even if it means going against the popular crowd. So, when the school threatens to shut down the student food pantry to build a new center for the football team, I fight back.
That’s when I meet Nate Cooper, the charismatic football jock and campus heartthrob, who couldn’t be more different from me.
Our disagreements are fiery and intense, and so are the sparks. I swore I’d never trust a man, but I can’t ignore the way Nate makes me feel.
Torn between my beliefs and desires, can I resist sleeping with the enemy?

I really loved the character of Kayla in this book she is strong and uncompromising and the kind of female lead you can root for. At times the story skipped a bit quickly for my liking hence the 4 stars rather than 5 but if you enjoy an east breezy romance then you’ll enjoy this. Look forward to seeing what comes next from this author!

This was an ok read for me, it’s light hearted and fun although the dialogue felt a bit weird. There are some though provoking topics in this book which I thought were very interesting. I enjoyed the relationship development between Kayla and Nate although it did feel a bit rushed at times. Overall it was easy to read.

I loved this book honestly Noah melted my heart. Kayla is a Dj but has a passion and strong drive to help the pantry which helps stuggljng students access food! This story had me gripped and there is some spice but to be honest I’d have loved it even without the spice as the story was so unique and different from most football books I’ve read! Kayla is strong and stands up for what she believes in, she’s independent. Noah is a star on his football team but when he sees Kayla at a party DJing he knows she’s the girl for him. He falls fast and she does too but is more reserved and has doubts (though you know she can’t resist him)
I did struggle with them glossing over the fights they had. He said some things that given Kaylas personality I thought she’d want him to apologise for or at least give him a hard time over. I did feel for Noah when Kayla had to think about helping him he didn’t think twice about helping her so I did feel for him there.
Ultimately this book is so good a unique story and amazing strong characters! I can’t wait for the next book ????

I liked this sports romance. Kayla was feisty and contentious. Nate was the football hero, but with heart and compassion. A good combo. Will college politics keep these two on opposing sides? And keep them apart. A good read.
