I love how the book is firm and the pages are nice and thick so the color don’t bleed through. But don’t use water color though, that will bleed.

So I saw a video on tiktok that had a Disney colouring book where the picture changed as you colour it in. I thought that was what this was as I checked the book in the video and what it said on the cover. I chose the one with Ariel on the cover as I love the little mermaid but thought it would be the same as it says coloriages mysteries on the book but the picture is as it looks it does not change as you colour it in. Granted I have only just started so maybe it still has time to change but it don’t look like it to me.

Whenever I buy colouring books I always struggle with colours and I’m pretty textbook so I always end up googling the characters and colouring them the intended way. I get bored easily doing it that way.

Although this book instructs you on the colours to use and where they’re needed I find it to be rather entertaining and a good time killer.

The pictures provided are excellent choice but I do feel like some Princesses are favoured more than others. I would have liked some more Aurora or Cinderella.
On a positive note the paper isn’t flimsly and the pens I used (Hethrone) don’t bleed through which is a major win.

The downsides to this book are as follows:
    1. Some pictures always have some parts lined/coloured. I’m not sure if this was actually intended or a printing error.

    2. It would have been nice if the book reccomended a certain set of pens/pencils to match the colours perfectly. It is mostly guess work and it takes its time trying to match the colours the way they are intended. Sometimes I failed and it was a little disheartening.

    3. On each page the colours have letters or numbers linked to them. I wish the numbers and colours were specifically linked to certain colours throughout the entire book as it would make the whole swatching less time consuming if you only had to do it once for all colours.

On a whole it’s a book I will enjoy for many months.

The book itself is a fine detailed colour book which is definitely aimed at older colour fans
It arrived on time by Amazon courier HOWEVER was thrown from the gate onto a brick bin house and reported to have been posted through the letter box
Found later the damp had found it’s way into the package wrinkled the book
The book itself was very detailed fine print and would have made a nice gift were it not for the stupidity of the delivery man
