Counter Wokecraft: A Field Manual for Combatting the Woke in the University and Beyond
£9.70
The Woke ideology is colonizing Western Civilization. This ideology views the world through a Marxist-inspired lens of “systemic power dynamics” that divides us between the “privileged” and the “oppressed.” This colonization has successfully captured many of our noblest and most vital institutions through time-tested strategies and tactics. People from almost every sector of life are concerned about this capture but feel paralyzed and helpless as this ideology activates itself and wields its power. The good news is that Woke tactics are predictable and can be countered. This guide is an invaluable contribution to understanding, recognizing, and ultimately countering “Wokecraft” wherever it appears. While the guide is tailored to the university, its lessons are applicable throughout government, K-12 education, the private sector, churches, and even formal and informal affinity groups. This makes the guide a much-needed contribution as people seek to push back against the destructive Woke ideology.

This publication is set out as an academic review but as I am not academic this did not detract from my ability to obtain information on USA university occupation by the Woke brigade. I see the same techniques WOKE students and academics utilise within the church environment and throughout government here in the UK. It is up to us to fight against it or allow it to remove all of the public rights to freedom of expression and freedom itself are taken away from us and that is no hyperbole.

I’m not altogether convinced that the approach is the ideal one, but the substance is vitally important. We are in the grip of a culural malaise, supported by the knowing and the naive. This book should open some eyes, if nothing else. Whether it will prove an effective anti-dote to the power-mad and sanctimonious remains to be seen. May the wheel start to turn. It cannot come soon enough.

pages and pages on how to run meetings – useful to a degree but i got bored quite frankly.

This dreadful ideology is now moving from Universities, where it is already well established, into schools and businesses.
Learn what it really is, how it is propagated, and how it can be stopped.
This ideology is no joke, and it won’t just fade away.
Ordinary people now need to pay attention to this virus, and join the push-back.
The woke ideology thrives on people’s apathy. Buy this book and find out how to resist.

As a Trustee of a small charity which has seen some of this battle I found it very useful to understand the tactics and strategies of these people as they try to take over our institutions.

Some books are very long a say very little. Counter Wokecraft is not that type of book.
If you are unsettled by what’s happening to our institutions (in universities, media, NGOs and government, to cover the main ones) it is easy to see this as a battle between the left and the right, one the left is winning. If you think this is just the left wing finding ways to pursue left wing policies, it may be easy to misinterpret the guidance given in the book.
While wokeness calls upon ultra left wing ideology (Marxists ideas of oppressed and oppressor) it goes further, way further through its other (post modernist) foundations. The way the woke community behaves steps outside all norms and conventions of ‘normal reasonable’ behaviour. When you engage with this community, and you will, if you are unprepared, you won’t even realise you have brought a kn*fe to a g*n fight before it’s too late.
So what, you might ask? Well, if you see the political world through the lens of right and left, you are already trapped by by this insidious ideology of wokeness. The woke seek to divide traditional left and right as well. Sadly the radical right seem compliant in this activity as well.
If you are on the right, there are allies on the left and if you are on the left and reject woke ideology, there are still rational allies on the right.
Only by taking on board the idea that ‘the enemy of my enemy is my friend’ can we hope to check this woke advance. The woke folk know this.
You recognise an ally by their commitment to the norms and conventions of liberal group decision making. This is why I think chapter 2 ‘Key Tools of Wokecraft’ is particularly important specifically 2.4.1 Subverting Liberal Decision-Making, is so important, not just to spot the enemy but to seek out allies who are in your political camp. Your allies for this fight are those who believe in Liberal Democracy, the old fashioned type that broadly describes most folk who have been brought up in these types of democracies.
I am left of centre on many things but I believe there is a war to be won. I am probably never going to align with an ultra right nationalist or a radical creationist but it does not mean I cannot work with an old fashioned conservative who hasn’t even noticed what’s happening. So if you are on the right (or left) and are reading this, try to put aside your legitimate disagreements on policy with my side of the house in a joint effort to restore the rules of engagement that have built the modern world. If you are on the (centre) left, always remember, this woke movement is not your friend.
Finally please become an active citizen. We are lucky enough to be born at a time where Liberal Democracies have been in the ascendent. It is easy to assume there is no need to fight for our way of life. If you look at the last 350 years of history you will see how fragile liberal Democratic ideas are and how hard our ancestors have fought for what we take for granted. Share the ideas in this book, with friends who maybe don’t agree with you politics, if you are in meetings call out woke tactics in the way described in the book. There is undoubtedly a silent majority, it’s time to speak up.

This is an important, easy to read manual for our times. Just about everyone has had to endure woke training at their workplace and this is a guide for resistance. I have personally already used some of these tips during “training” sessions, much to my own amusement.
Just a warning to those who may wish to purchase- it is currently being censored by Amazon and cannot be downloaded to any Kindle device. You may still read it on the Kindle app, though.

It appears that Wokeism has been quite successful because the general population has been unaware. Probably our lack of interest in politics after many disappointments has allowed this insidious doctrine to get past the barriers
This excellent book has now made me fully aware of Wokeism and its threats to humanity. I think political correctness is bad enough but Wokeism is even more dangerous if it succeeds.
