Cruel Intentions: A Dark College Bully Romance (Blackmore University Book 1)
£3.80
Dark romance author Cora Kent brings you a forbidden romance between a college bully and the innocent daughter of the woman that married his father.
Her mother is a homewrecker; I have no doubt that she is, too.
She bats her eyelashes and pretends she’s innocent, but I know the truth.
The blood in her veins is made of mud, and I will purify it.
Kaye Pennington is the daughter of the woman that ruined my life, now I will ruin hers.
It’s not fair; nothing in life ever is.
When her innocence has been plucked like a flower…
When she’s been made to pay for her sins…
When she stands before me a broken reed…
Her mother’s debt will be repaid.
Until then… she’s mine.
And I do whatever I want with my property.

Kaye and Xavier’s story had me feeling lots of emotions and I absolutely fudging loved it!!!! ????
I loved seeing both of the characters growth throughout the book! They both go through a lot of things together and separately throughout the book and each character grew from each experience!
I especially loved seeing Xavier come to terms with what he done and realising he was wrong and growing from that! It’s a valuable thing to be able to know you were wrong and learn from that experience.
Kaye goes through a lot in the book like unknown emotions about certain events and trying to understand what she done and why?. I loved seeing her process everything in her way and knowing when to ask for help even if she didn’t want to.
I absolutely loved this book and definitely recommend it!!!!!????

I love a book that makes me hate the main MMC at the start but the more we read the more we love them.
Xavier definitely does this!
He’s not happy that his dad has a new wife and blames her for breaking up his family and he wants revenge. What better way to do this then make his new step sister, Kaye, life a misery. Kaye is 15 when they meet and he quickly gets obsessed and is constantly telling her how he is going to be the one who takes her innocence.
When Kaye starts at Blackmore University where Xavier is also attending, he steps up his game.
Xave is a walking red flag! But when Kaye starts working with his dad and quickly becomes concerned with her step dad’s intentions who does she call? Xavier!!
Also that Maze scene… ????

I LOVED this book! Although it was fast paced, the character growth was amazing! Kaye is this timid shy girl and ends up choosing herself for once in her life! Xavier really was a walking red flag and so primal and I loved it! He is so possessive and so questionable throughout most the book! He gives off touch her and die vibes and that is my favourite! He fell first and he had to have her, any way he could!
I loved the chase.. The maze scene, the texts between the two of them, the way he protected her! His nickname for her ‘little love’ melted my heart! The plot to the story was incredible and it sets the scene for the next book which is due next year!
I love kaye and Christine, their relationship was amazing! I cannot wait to read what Christine gets up to next!
I only didn’t give 5* because it wasn’t as spicy as I normally read and the story jumped quite a lot at the end so we didn’t see all the grovelling I was hoping we’d see.
Congrats Cora on this book! ????

I LOVED this book! Although it was fast paced, the character growth was amazing! Kaye is this timid shy girl and ends up choosing herself for once in her life! Xavier really was a walking red flag (who doesn’t love a red flag) and so primal and I loved it! He is so possessive and so questionable throughout most the book! He gives off touch her and die vibes and that is my favourite!
The plot to the story was incredible

Fantastic read! I finished within a day!
The characters are well thought out and their angst of what’s right and wrong clearly shows in the writing. I especially loved Xavier’ POV & the maze scene! The book gives hints of future plots for the side characters and I can’t wait for them to come out!
I have given Cruel Intentions a 4/5 just because I’m used to much darker books! This book showed signs of being a darker read but there are parts which have been darker!

Whilst I did enjoy reading this book it wasn’t dark enough for me.
Although Xavier was a bully he was a pretty tame one. The touch her and die vibe was there but it wasn’t strong enough for me and felt a bit tame
There were some surprise moments however there was also predictable ones too.
I loved the friendship between Kaye and Christine and I am looking forward to reading Christine’s story
I am grateful that I got the chance to be an arc for this.
