Received promptly even with the cheapest free delivery option. well written book, easy to understand and apply the functions described. clear diagrams and photos. well thought out indexing system. money well spent IMO. This is not a handy user guide, more an indepth isnstruction manual, not really suitable to keep in your gadget bag as too heavy. My only ‘critism’ is that a hardback would have been better. no missing pages as mentioned in other reviews.

This book is essential for anyone venturing into the world of digital photography with this camera. The manufacturer’s instruction book is “scanty” to say the least – but David Busch’s book explains in simple, but great detail how to use this camera to the best advantage. It has made “the learning curve” much easier. It is easy to read, and I wouldn’t be without it.

This is a beautiful book – well written and illustrated. The author is a well respected and seasoned writer of high quality camera books. The illustrations are well designed and the content allows the reader to quickly experiment with the sophisticated Cannon 7D. Camera books are often crammed full of technical jargon and can be very daunting for the novice. This book manages to engage the novice while providing the more advanced user ample tuition in the the cameras advanced features. Highly recommended.

David Busch book was recommended through other posts on Amazon and I am pleased I bought the book. Not only is it well explained but the author adds tips that he uses as a guide. The chapters are well laid out covering all the options available on the EOS 7D. This is one of those books that you pick up on a regular basis to see what else the camera can do; a very useful reference book. If you have a Canon EOS 7D then you need this book.

I was fortunate enough to purchase this book and read it before my EOS 7D arrived. This book is a must read if you want to get to grips with this camera straight from the off.
If your upgrading from an earlier EOS camera then as the book says you can jump chapters however if like me this the 7D is your first major camera purchase it’s a fantastic guide.
It’s really well writen and provides an insight into best practice from an author with years of practicle expereince in the field.

This book by David Busch relating to the Canon 7D is quite a revelation as it shows assorted procedures that the Canon own book never even reaches. Its all done and nicely laid out with wonderfully clear photos by way of illustration plus its well written that is understandable without having to have a degree in English literature. This is the second David Busch camera book I have bought and each one has been well worth the money as they are informative and well illustrated.

At this point in time, I have only had the oportunity to browse through this book because I haven’t got the camera yet! I’ll be buying that on my soon to be trip to Singapore. So, I thought it logical to buy this very informative book while I’m passing time prior to my visit in January. But, I found that reading the book without the camera, is like reading with my eyes closed. However, the book is full of need to know information, most of which can only be put together with the help of the camera. If you own one of these cameras or are going to buy one, then this book is a neccessity to have.
