No writing, only the images on paper. The images are not the best but are overall very very preety and are a good starting point for tracing them, coloring and redesign their features such as edges or fills . Very beautifull book . Thank you to the author .

This little book is jam packed full of great ideas for embroiderers and other craft workers. If you enjoy jacobean style embroidery which I do, then this book is an absolute ‘must have’. The illustrations are clear black and white line drawings very easy to either trace or copy and enlarge and then work up in your own chosen field. It makes a valuable companion to Hazel Blomkamp’s books on crewel embroidery.

It’s okay…it’s ok…but it’s not what it appeared to be. (Why is everything that I write like a song from the sixties).
