Pros: gives good background info, easy to understand, great tips and the ‘don’t forget’ & the ‘in reality’ bits.
Cons: like most factual books probably needs updating.

We bought this as a book because I already have it on Kindle and learnt so much from it. I have early onset dementia so it was relevant for both of us. Myself as the person with dementia and my husband at some point the carer.

A great help in getting to grips with the subject

Bought this book in a hard format as I have a number of customers with varying degrees of dementia and wanted to understand the differences in different types of dementia and progression of the disease a little more. Quite a lot of the book gives advice on benefits and legal stuff which I don’t really need to know so stopped reading when I got a good grip of the actual subject I wanted to know about

Read the complete book and learnt loads about the subject. Good balance between the complex information and kept the readability fairly straight forward.
