Diary of a Gym Addict
£13.30
My name is Tom, and I’m a Gym Addict. For over two decades, I’ve been obsessed with and consumed by all aspects of fitness. This book aims to capture the learnings, successes and failures of my different approaches to natural Bodybuilding, diets, training programmes and developing a strong, sporting mindset. I examine some of the pitfalls of the modern fitness landscape, including social media, the rise of the ‘fitness influencer’ and how effective training and programming can be instrumental in overcoming mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression and addiction.

What a book, what a man!!! I’ve trained with Tom for over a decade and had more than 500+ free “Mossy” programmes (as has half our friendship group), and I can safely say the giant Kipper knows what he’s talking about!
I urge anyone to read this book as it gives a no-nonsense guide to the multiple benefits of lifting weights. That said, you don’t have to be into lifting to read this, as it outlines what can be achieved through discipline, friendship, hard work and dedication!
You’re a source of constant inspiration Mossy!

Really interesting and inspiring read. A detailed, knowledgable and honest view of all things fitness, weight training, nutrition and mental health from someone who clearly knows his stuff and has a real passion for what he does, whilst still having a normal day job!.

A great read, full of some excellent advice and help for anyone looking to use the gym from a very experienced natural body builder. I’ve been a gym goer for years and thought I knew a lot until I read this book. Nutrition, weight programs, mindset and competition knowledge that will help anyone really focus their training.

Fantastic book and a must read. Really insightful, well written but also full of humour. A must read for anyone interested in physical and mental health and gives genuine insights in to the mindset of high performance. Loved it, Tom has smashed it and already looking forward to the next one! Highly recommend!!

So refreshing to read something that cuts through all the waffle and faff that we seem to be surrounded by these days.
I’m not a huge gym goer myself but that doesn’t matter and if you are the same as me that shouldn’t discourage you from reading this book. The messages within can be applied to pretty much any area of life and I think everyone can learn a thing or two that will help them along the way. Tom’s passion and knowledge shine through and it’s a very interesting and thought provoking read. Well done!!!
