I have noticed with this series they have gotten more and more enjoyable as the series went on. That is bearing in mind that I loved Becoming Bennet. Nicole Dykes and Cora Rose have gotten into their grove with this one and it’s just so goooood.
Damon and his sass. God, I love him. Usually, I am not the biggest fan of people who have too much confidence in themselves, but the way Damon does it, he doesn’t come across as full of himself and is more of a comedic I know I am amazing. Because he is!
Tomas and his innocence. A sexual awakening story can never be overdone by an author and these two write the best ones. Tomas feeling drawn to Damon and realising…oops. This is not just in a friendly way. Gah. It is so good. Sexual awakening stories get me every damn time.
I GENUINLEY THOUGHT HE WAS DREAMING OR IMAGINING STORMING INTO DAMON’S HOUSE. If you had asked me to bet money on it, I would have lost. What. A. Bold. Move. My little chill relaxed sweet Tomas did not come to play. Talk about an exiting of the shell moment. My jaw… was on the damn floor. Knocking the camera too! It’s suddenly very warm in here. Whoever decided on that scene. Kisses.
I love that there is a recurring theme of meddling [insert thing] within these books. The three pups were a hilarious addition to this book. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I finished it just before release day as I was lucky to receive an ARC copy and now, days later I still smile thinking about it.

4 ⭐️ while this book was cute & fun, I actually expected it to be a bit more OTT ???? but I still enjoyed it!
I loved the concept of Damon house-sitting for Carter’s moms and this placing him in close proximity to Tomas, the sexy tatted-up mechanic. The start of this set-up gave me the hysterical energy that I was wanting, with Damon hating nature and a centipede in the house making him run to Tomas in dire need of assistance. And then once Tomas learned about Damon’s job (ohh sweet summer child Trenton, he better get a book!) the scenes we got of Damon camming knowing Tomas was watching were *chef’s kiss” perfection. Those two elements were brilliant and I wanted more of that vibe.
But one thing I absolutely loved in that Tomas immediately wanted to introduce Damon to his entire family, like yeah totally normal chill bro activity Tomas. And how adamant he was that Damon not change anything about himself! We love a respectful and supportive king!

Such a sweet, light & hot book.
That’s exactly what I needed after reading a few tougher books. Damon is so much fun & so sassy & I love how Tomas was drawn to him straight away just like I was. Thank you, Nicole & Cora for this book.

Damon, Carter, Reed, Bennet & Jasper, 5 Cam-boys all finding their person and setting up in business together. Carter & Reed moved back to Ramona, in the Californian countryside near Carter’s moms.
Everyone is busy and when the Mom’s go on holiday they ask Damon to house sit and take care of their 3 Heathen dogs. Damon is a city boy but doesn’t mind helping out Carter’s moms. However when a creepy crawlie shows up in the kitchen Damon gets hysterical and runs out of the house in his silk bathrobe.
He runs to the neighbours house, Tomas, a motor mechanic, begging him to come and get the monster in the kitchen. Like a knight in shining armour Tomas agrees.
Tomas is mesmerised by Damon, he’s never seen anyone like him before, and when Damon starts talking flirty with him Tomas blushes. Once the creature is released from the kitchen, as a thank you Damon invites him to dinner. Blushing again, Tomas tells him he’s not gay!!!
Damon is feeling lonely so he keeps inviting Tomas to hang out, eat, watch a movie. Poor Tomas, he doesn’t stand a chance against the charm of Damon.
It was so fun watching Tomas and Damon find their way to each other, who knew Tomas, the dirty, greasy mechanic would enjoy being exfoliated by the Diva Damon.
Still Mr Straight Guy, Tomas takes a peek at Damon’s Camboy site, just too see what it’s all about. Big mistake , cracks start to appear in Tomas’s ‘straightness’. He doesn’t like other people watching Damon do his job as a Camboy. When Tomas’s friend and employee, Trenton, shows interest in Damon, Tomas’s starts feeling strange.
This third books, seems to be the last one in the ‘Behind the Camera’ series. All three have been excellent, easy reads, maybe book 2 had a bit more grittiness to the storyline than the other two.
I loved Tomas’s and Carter’s families and how they embraced their individual boys, such fun side characters.
I hope Nicole and Cora continue to collaborate on more books in the future, I’ve read some of their individual books, and in this series their different writing styles compliment each other.

Tomas and Damon are so sweet!
And sexy, but so damn cute!
And the stinky dogs, interfering moms and hilarious siblings with a slow as molasses dad, and nosey but well meaning friends just make this book so good! I love this series!
