Given as a gift and reports that it was enjoyed by the children who took it in turns to open the pocket containing the book which was read to them.

Out of 24 books (thankfully all present and correct) only 2 were Christmas stories, this being an advent calendar, I was expecting more of a Christmas theme, so a little bit disappointed. That being said, it’s not going to bother my granddaughter any, she’s not yet 2. The most christmassy thing about most of the books are the snowflakes on the covers and sleeves.

So far I’m overly impressed, arrived in a giant box almost up to my hip so I thought ‘surely not’ only to open it and think what on earth it’s huge!, haven’t opened but for the size of it and for my babies first Christmas so she felt included I’ve recommended it to both my sisters with babies also!, perfect giant advent calendar for bedtime stories to change up every night, the photo is in comparison of my babies travel cot to see size for reference

Brought for my sons first advent calendar that I want to bring out every year for him. Its lovely but unfortunately the 5th is missing and is replaced by 19th twice. Its a shame as I wanted this to be a keepsake for many years to come.
