This is really nice quality – a thick book with a pop-up Christmas tree onto which you can put the lovely little cardboard decorations you open each day. The double-sided decorations are nicely designed and good quality, with a little gold three hanger on each. The only small downside is that even when all 24 have been opened, there’s still seemingly quite a lot of space on the tree, because when you hang them they sit flat against the tree on all the hangers apart from the bottom row, so they don’t stand out as much as if they were 3D. However, clearly they can’t be 3D because of the design!
The little booklet is nice to have a quick look at but isn’t much more than a little extra gimmick. That said, the whole thing is a lovely thing to have if you’re a fan of the NBC, and we will certainly be packing it away for next year as it’s an attractive decoration to have in the kitchen. Not cheap, but good quality and interesting, so good vfm. It comes in a clear cellophane sleeve which protected it perfectly through the post.

Really nice quality, will last for years. Also note, it is big, you need plenty of space. One point of note; the booklet shows you each character that will appear and the door number too, so don’t look if you want a surprise.

Amazing quality, I’d had this in my basket for the last two years and only just got it. I was so pleased at how well made it is. My daughter was absolutely thrilled with it, and it can all be put back and used again and again

I did expect the story to be part of the pages but this “book” opens up only once to reveal a tree with the calendar doors around it with little decorations in each window, it does have a story book behind one of the doors, it’s wel made and my daughter was thrilled was expecting more book than advent calendar but it was a pleasant surprise will be able to be reused for many years if looked after
