Bought for a 7 year old. He loved it and read it in a day. Downside is that he now wants the next book.
We love Dogman – he’s Wuff and tuff and gets the job done.

As a teacher I have always avoided graphic books (comic) for my grandchildren. However my 8 year old grandson is a reluctant reader – but he adores these – and I have to admit, it is lovely seeing him engrossed in a book!

So recommend these books – my little boy really loves them, he gets through one every couple of days (reading at night and usually in the morning for a while too). I think because they are so action-packed, and there are so many pictures (obviously, what with it being comic-style of course!) and not too many words, he can really keep the pace going and it’s very encouraging for him.
I like reading them too, to be honest!
