Ahh, the second book in the Quinton and Aspen triolilogy! That cliffhanger was crazy! I need so many things from book 3! I need revenge and a perfect hea, but knowing these authors, they will definitely deliver

The characters really draw you in. It’s gritty and takes you through all sorts of emotions. I am looking forward to reading the next book.

No no no!! The ending just why!!! The ending took it down to three stars for me, I feel like authors think they have to put that type of scene in but it’s so unnecessary

My heart breaks for Q&A ???????????????? just when you think they are moving forward they are thrown every curve ball there is. My heart was pounding for those last chapters. And now we just anxiously await Broken Kingdom.

What a cliffhanger. My heart broke for Aspen, she has endured so much, no person deserves so much hate. Quinton still hot and cold for me but I can see he’s suffering too but for different reasons. The next book needs to be Q&A hea they deserve and those that wronged her need to be punished. I am hooked on this series. Please read with care as it contains tws, it’s not for everyone.

Part 2. Continuing from where KING OF CORIUM left off.
By some miracle, Aspen has survived the crash. She’s been though so much, the torment, humiliation, few attempts on her life. She can’t die out in the middle of nowhere. Realising that no-one is coming to her rescue, and why should they? Everyone at Corium hates her, they won’t bat an eyelash that she’s missing, no one except from Ren, who helped her leave, knows she’s left. And he won’t come to her aide. Did he have something to do with the crash?
When Quinton finds out the Aspen left, he knows that it was him that drove her to finally leave. Also knowing that no-one would survive that crash, he goes out alone to see if Aspen’s alive, or anyone else for that matter. When he finds her, she’s shocked to why he’s there saving her. But thankful all the same. He’s only there cause he owes her.
They get back to school, both a bit battered and bruised.
Quinton struggles with his obsession with Aspen. She soothes the noise in him. She needs to stay away from him. But they’re drawn together. She can’t fall for him. She can’t let her heart get battered, not when she knows he doesn’t feel that way for her. They’re enemies. Xander (Quinton’s father) has threatened her yet again to stay away from his son.
Quinton sees her as his, and his to torment, to do with whatever he sees fit.
She’s convinced that it’s at Quinton’s request their peers are still bullying her. But he now sees what it’s doing to her.
Can he make it up to her?
What truths are waiting to be revealed?
How many more times can poor Aspen be humiliated, tormented and her life on the line?
Will she get a little bit of a spark to form a back bone?
Will she become her own hero?
This is full of angst, drama, suspence.
I ugly cried… bad. But an excellent read!

It’s been a while since I’ve found a series that’s as addictive as this. I love the darkness, the plot is different from the norm too. The character development is brilliant. The twist at the end of this one I was not expecting. I’m nervous to carry on because I don’t want to run out of books
