My daughter wanted to learn the recorder and this book has been really helpful to teach her both to read the notes and to help with her fingering.
There’s some classic songs in there so she’s heard of a few of them,which has helped to motivate her to learn them.
Can highly recommend!

A Wonderfull recorder i would recommend to anyone

This is a good book but it is for German fingering and in Britain, we use Baroque fingering. I have recorders in every size from sopranino to bass and because it is Easy Recorder Lessons For Kids, it is aimed at soprano players. Neither is a major problem. I was taught to play by a woman who thought it was more important to enjoy playing than to bore people.
I am a jazz musician. I play the right notes but not always in the right order.
