I really like the KS3 40 questions at the start to just recap previous learning. I really like the pages have a link you can scan using your camera on your mobile that takes you to a short quiz. I’ve marked the book down one as you can see in the photo, the quick test doesn’t specify if you can or can’t use a calculator. In other quick questions there can be seen a no use calculator sign so I’m guessing a calculator can be used. It would just be nice to have this confirmation. Maybe there is no calculator sign to encourage those to try to do the sums without a calculator , who knows. But when it comes to exams they have a paper where they can and where they can’t use a calculator. Marked down a scone star as my son said with the first KS4 task as pictured, it has questions with brackets and my son said the learning part doesn’t really cover that. I did mention maybe it was bodmas but my son said it wasn’t that and said he think they have to be ignored as when he did that he got the questions right. So it would have been nice just to have an explanation in the leaning. My son did say the learning doesn’t cover everything you need to know to answer the questions.

Covers a lot of topics but not in great detail. It’s good that they have revision as well as questions.

Me little one asked for this for school as they only touched on this but need this for course work. Very good for school work .
