5 Stars for the book itself – 2 Stars for the battered condition it arrived in. A thin cardboard mailer is no adequate protection for such a heavy book. Should have listened to the many reviews on this page complaining about the bad condition these books arrive in.

Excellence book. Too bad Amazon don’t take care of there stock and send out damaged products – so ms y of the reviews of this product show damaged items! Really poor Amazon.

Future Press have done it again, much like the game itself the guide has no rival. The care, knowledge and application adapted for the book is a masterclass in game guides. The wait for the book is irrelevant; this is art in its truest form. Future Press if you are reading this, thank you! Now that you achieved this monumental success, please re-print the Dark Souls compendium book.

This book is amazing, full of details on combat, Bestiary info for each of the enemies (step-by-step guides which Armaments and equipment are best used. The book also shows how to achieve the various endings, and has walkthroughs for the numerous castles, dungeons etc. Paper is the semi-glossy type and there is a built in bookmark … The whole thing is a 5 stars for production quality and 5 stars for content. You also get some extra postcard of the Elden Ring world.
As you can see, I’ve given the book 5 stars because it deserves it and the content of the book should not be downmarked due to logistical issues in my opinion, but if there was also an option to rate handling/delivery it would be 0 stars. ????

Product arrive well packed, undamaged.
Delivery was slow but it was the manufacturer’s fault only.

Between this and Book 1 it has everything I think any fan would need, before the future DLC is released at least
Just to reply to another review on here stating that Book 2 has an A1 printed map inside – it doesn’t – that is included with Book 1
