A large, glossy book with wonderful pictures, but .. it’s just not in-depth. Every page has another European King, meaning a large picture and often just a couple of lines of text. Not what I was looking for, but it’s gorgeous for at the coffee table, just to take a look at.

A beautiful must have book

This book gives short bios of all of Europe’s monarchs from 1600 to the present day. It is illustrated with very large color pictures, and the texts are short, but it gives a good view of the intermarriages of the European royal families, and it is easy to track the individual families through the centuries.
