Very nice book but the colour reproduction for all the images is terrible with a prominent yellow cast and look nothing like those featured on the Amazon page.

I bought this book having seen the film ‘Eric Ravilious: Drawn to War’. It really confirms what an extraordinary artist he was. The coverage of his woodcuts and watercolours is good and the commentary informative and helpful in describing the context of his work. The format suits the scale of the work. I have to congratulate the publisher for the sympathetic choice of paper and finish that allows the illustrations to ‘breathe’ Susie Hodge’s book is indeed full of ‘Masterpieces of Art’
