I bought this to teach English to a beginner student after not teaching English for years. It is great for explaining grammar concepts but in order to practice and embed each area, additional comprehension, in depth writing and other exercises are needed to support the points in the book.

Great for more advanced EAL students. Gives examples of positive, negative and question forms of sentences. There’s a quiz at the end to help understand where difficulties lie. It’s a good to dip into as the explanations and graphics explain grammar very well and I supplement the exercises with other listening and talking activities.
