Really simple layout with a great photo image of hundreds of fish with notes sufficient to understand what to get and what to keep together (hopefully- I’m a newbie about to set a tank up !)

Very poorly printed and illustrated looks like a home printer effort.
Very disappointing and not worth the money

This book appears to have been designed and written for a kindle or similar and the printing/publishing seems an after thought. The book isn’t worth the £10+ in print.

The contents of the book aren’t brilliant. The content is basic, you will find better information online. The photos are poor in quality, I am not suggesting this is the case bit they appear to be images that have been sourced online rather than taken for the book and when printed the resolution wasn’t good enough resulting in pixilated images in some instances.

The paper quality and feel of the book in the hand is also cheap, my home printer with decent heavy weight HP paper would produce better quality printed material in my opinion.

As per other reviews the info on each fish is basic and sometimes inconsistent, you may not find all the information for each fish you are looking at. I don’t think there is sufficient information on subjects other tank mates for instance or how many fish of each type should be kept together. You would be much better off if you are looking for this information using online resources or with an encyclopaedia of fish/tropical fish.

In summary this may be worth a couple of £s for the kindle version if you are new to fish keeping but don’t by in print.
