Evergreen Assets: The “Do The Work Once, Reap the Rewards Again and Again (and Again!)” Content Marketing Ecosystem
£1.70
FINALLY… AN EVERGREEN CONTENT MARKETING SYSTEM – from the bestselling author of Big Ideas… for Small Businesses and Routine Machine.
Content Marketing doesn’t work – at least not the way most people do it. Most people make content marketing harder work than it needs to be. This book will show you how to get your content marketing working hard for you, rather than the other way around! To do the work once, and reap the rewards again and again (and again!).
EVERGREEN ASSETS WILL SHOW YOU:
- How a cow’s arse got John on primetime BBC TV.
- Why the world’s worst website is still better than yours.
- How to make £125,000 from a 27p fridge magnet.
- Why you should abandon social media.
- How a spelling mistake increased sales by 48%
- The real reason that “no-one’s buying” from you.
- How to get the Queen of England to endorse you.
- That your customers are all busy, lazy, drunk, amnesiac idiots
- What you ACTUALLY earn in an hour.
- How to sell more (by selling less).
JOHN LAMERTON is a self-styled lazy entrepreneur and investor. He balances running an ambitious lifestyle business with raising two children. A former “hustler”, John now earns more money “working” 20 to 25 hours a week than he used to pulling all-nighters and “grinding” for 100+ hours per week. He now mentors fellow ambitious lifestyle business owners, showing them how to design their business around their ideal lifestyle.

This book is full of great tips, just like his other books, to help you develop. Even if you think that you have done all you can, John – somehow – places ideas in your head that will help you see ‘holes’ in your plans, or he suggest new ideas you never thought of. This is one great investment.

Incredible book that every needs to read if they’re fed up of exchanging every hour of work for £££.
As a business owner, it’s easy to fall into the trap of believing you don’t have a job because you own a business. But how many of us own a business but still have a job within that business?
This book is a gateway to ‘passive’ income. I use the word passive lightly, but there are ways to have income streams bring in money for you without you exchanging time for money. That feeling you get when you a payment comes in for an asset you own that you can sell over and over again without actually doing anything (after you’ve done everything in this book, anyway!)
Enjoy your future; it’s about to get a whole lot easier.

I’ve read both Big ideas and Routine Machine which I loved so it was a certainty that I would read this one too. I was not disappointed. There is some really practical advice that can very easily be put into place by following the framework. It doesn’t have to be done in the order of the book. I follow the framework for case studies and testimonials and now have over 80 quality (and meaningful) testimonials on google along with case studies. I’ve also started work on my email list and (as per in the book) got help from an expert rather than spending time trying to do it all myself!
Great read and as said (plus I got the audio too!) – I’m already putting this stuff into practice and I’m definitely seeing the difference already. Thank you!

This book has the capability to change your life, by changing your business, if you read it and take action.
It deals with the key areas that need to be addressed for a business to thrive. It was said in another book about asset creation that any problem in business is created by a deficiency of assets. Evergreen Assets delivers in spades and will lead to the creation of more than 24 assets.
This isn’t a book full if hifalutin theory that then leaves the reader the choice of either figuring it out themselves or having to sign up for some course or mastermind, it gets the mind thinking creatively and provides next steps to implementation.
There isn’t any more to say other than buy it, read it, do the work. It changed my business before I had even finished it.

This is the third book I’ve read by John Lamerton, the man who puts the R in routine and offers concrete easily actionable advice that can transform your business success.
Content creation, visibility and credibility are what produces results when it comes to online marketing and John has a powerful system that helps create effective and successful lifestyle businesses.
I’ve only just started it but already loving the content, so much so I’ve bought another copy for a friend who’s setting up his first online business.
Buy your copy and more importantly take action too.

Interesting read. Well structured and nicely explained with great examples. Nice one John! Almost stumbled upon this by chance, perhaps your big idea of being on Amazon is spot on.

As a solopreneur I read a lot of business books to help build my business, but most of them miss the mark in terms of relevance and application (I’m not an American corporation, nor do I want to jump out of bed at 5am in a never-ending quest to be a billionaire, nor do I want to hoodwink my clients with hyperbole or shady acquisition practices).
Evergreen Assets distils a lot of good advice into well-organised sections, and the humour of the writer shines through to actually make a business book a ‘page-turner’ – which is a first for me, I can humbly assure you.
Sure, you’ll have heard a bit of this book’s advice before, but then if you haven’t then where have you been? However there’s a wealth of new ideas and practical tips that I hadn’t even considered, way more than I’d expected.
If you want some hand-holding to build a reliable system for client acquisition and retention, without needing to spend 16 hours a day for the next ten years glued to your keyboard, then the book is for you.

I have recently completed reading this book. I can honestly say that it brings the mechanics of running a business in its simpliest form. I gave this book a 5 star review because not only does it give you the 6 evergreen assets that all businesses need, it further explains how you can apply it to your business. John is completely honest about how he has applied these assets into his business. In additional to this, John has been so honest and open in this book to say that he doesn’t have all the answers to all your business needs. However, he knows the correct books and experts that he can recommend you to pick their brains. This is true honesty here, I find many entrepreneurs write books and they think that they know it all and won’t openly admit that they don’t. The 6 evergreen Assets together create an ecosystem that will transform your business from being an owner operator to a business owner. One more thing, I have been dying of laughter with John’s jokes throughout the book. This Book is far from boring, you will actually laugh while learning an important lesson. What more do you need. Thanks John, appreciate your efforts you have put into this book to share with all of us.
