We’ve only just realised, a month after buying, that it’s missing 9 pages. Some of the pages are duplicated so it doesn’t appear to be missing any when you first see it.

Good detailed piano book, ideal for beginners. Would recommend doing it with teacher.

Not very keen on the lack of consistency with fingering when learning the first five notes of each hand. I know it’s a method used deliberately so the pupil does not associate a note with a particular finger, but when there is so much to learn at first, I think it adds unnecessary confusion.

As a piano teacher I am always looking for something to bridge the gap between small and older kids but I wouldn’t buy this again. It’s all over the place and there is no logic to the way techniques are introduced. Playing 3 notes in the base together before even teaching other important skills has confused my students and I won’t be using it as my main teaching resource because of this.
