Okay, okay, he has a right to be angry at me for dumping an armful of sticky breakfast plates on his head. It was an accident, I swear.
But now I’m out of a job—not that I’m any good at waiting tables—and Carson’s mother is offering to hire me.
There’s no way I can work for him. I may be from the sticks, but Davis Turner is nobody’s fool. Not anymore.
I refuse to be Carson’s next victim. Something will turn up. I’ll take anything. As long as I can hide away in the city, where my ex can’t find me.
Except my bank account is at rock bottom and rent is due. I’m running out of food. And time.
I guess I have to work for Carson. He’ll be my boss—nothing more. I can keep things professional.
There’s just one little problem.
Carson may not be as horrible as I thought. He’s trying so hard to right the wrongs of his father and brother, who left him with a mess most people would walk away from.
But Carson Ballard isn’t most people. And he won’t accept defeat.
Damn you, Carson.
Why do you have to be so nice…so generous…so wickedly funny and so, so sexy?
You’re offering me a future…if I can ignore the mistakes of my past.
You’re an impossible man who’s making everything possible.
How can I not fall for you?
Fall for You is a low-angst, high-heat MM romance about a closet romantic who doesn’t know the difference between a zip file and a zip-lock bag, and a computer whiz masquerading (and failing) as a waiter who has trouble holding onto his plates…and his heart.

Enjoyable mm romance, lots of give and take between our two main characters, Carson and Davis.
Both men have doubts about themselves due to historic relationship issues but there is no denying the attraction to each other.
After a very shaky start, some misunderstandings and interference from past lovers their love blooms and they have a wonderful partnership both in and out of the bedroom.
Nice easy read with some angst, banter, heat and love.

This was a noice slow burn about new beginnings and two men who had been hurt in the past. Carson has recently moved back to NY after his brother and father were killed in a car accident. They left mess of a business for him to try to turnaround and he doesn’t seem to be able to keep an assistant!
Davis moved to upstate NY to get away from his ex. and got a job as a waiter. He gets fired when spilling food on Carson, a top client. Carson’s mother gets involved and hires Davis to be Carson’s personal assistant. Once they get past their annoyance, Davis proves to be an excellent assistant and thrives in the office using his computer skills and quick thinking. Soon the business is making a change for the better. The attraction builds between them but Davis has a habit of getting involved with his bosses and it never ends well for him. As they get to know each other more they realise how compatible they are together. Its not all fluffy and there are a few twists ad surprises along the way but it all ends well. The characters are entertaining and It was fun read while I was away for a few days.

Carson is a workaholic who, after being belittled by his deceased father and brother, wants to prove to himself that he is not the failure they thought. Davis is in hiding from his manipulative ex. He’s head strong and smart mouthed, and when he and Carson meet, they instantly butt heads. I enjoyed Davis’ sassy no nonsense attitude, he certainly gives Carson what for. Even though Carson is very demanding, Davis manages to exceed his expectations as he’s out to prove he can meet Carson’s demands.
Carson quickly becomes intrigued by Davis’ intelligence, clear headedness, and sassy attitude. Even though Davis is immediately attracted to Carson, everything in him warns him to stay clear of him. When they finally got together, I loved the chemistry that Carson and Davis had together, loved their banter and the ways in which they both opened up to each other, as they got to know who they wanted to be individually, and in a relationship.
I really enjoyed this, it’s so emotional and heartbreaking initially, then as the two guys develop and grow close, they prove perfect for each other. Their characters were so real and I just couldn’t get enough of them together!! A lovely, low angst, love story, about two guys who just work.
I received an ARC of this story, which in no way influenced my opinion.

Carson Ballard has the weight of the world on his shoulders after his father and brother, misappropriated funds belonging to their wealthy clients, then got themselves killed in a car crash. Carson had to return home from his terrific job in London to try and save the company and replace what belonged to the clients.
He’s a grumpy, short tempered man at the best of times but when the waiter kept him waiting for his morning coffee, and then forgot what he ordered to eat, he really blew a gasket. Jumping up from his seat, he baked into the waiter with a tray of bacon, eggs and sausages, which promptly covered Carson from head to toe. His mother had just arrived for their weekly breakfast date and saw it all.
Carson, complaining loudly, catches Peter’s attention, the owner of the restaurant, who promptly says, “Davis, you’re fired”. Carson leaves after his mother calms him down.
Davis is living hand to mouth on his meagre earnings as a waiter. He knows it’s not the job for him, not with his qualifications, an IT Degree.
He had to flee his hometown and his high end job very suddenly and now he is ‘hiding’ in NYC.
He needs to find another job asap.
He’s surprised to see Carson’s mother waiting outside the door as he exits. After chatting for a few minutes, she offers him a job and gives her business card to him to call her.
Three days later, still Having no luck with a job, he calls her and accepts the job offer. Reporting for work on Monday morning he’s horrified to find he will be working as Carson Ballard’s PA. Fun times ahead!!!!
====================
It was fun watching these two guys trying to work together and discovering the ‘other side’ to each other.
At the same time both Carson and Davis have ex boyfriends skulking in their backgrounds and causing problems. Plus, clients wanting to take their business elsewhere which will bankrupt the company.
One thing I really liked about this book was that there wasn’t any ‘shoe dropping’ moment at 80% or there about. Sure, there were several incidents that cropped up that could have been one of those ‘moments’ but they were spread out throughout the book and dealt with as they cropped up.
These incidents were varied and involved secondary characters which impacted on Carson and Davis, and not caused between themselves.
Only annoyance to me was Davis’s overbearing, smothering mother, UGH.
Yes, a sweet easy read, no heart palpitations inflicted on me, only those ones between two guys who are crazy for each other.

I’ve always been a fan of Felice’s writing but have been guilty of not auto 1-clicking for awhile but I’ve recently gotten back into reading her books and I’m so glad I have. Thoroughly enjoyed Fall for You. At the outset Carson seems to be your typical privileged you-know-who with a stick up his you-know-what. But really there’s so much more to the man and he’s drowning under the pressure of fixing the wrongs of his brother and father. He’s definitely a man in pain. Davis meanwhile is dealing with the ramifications of a history of poor romantic entanglements. He’s skittish and afraid to get involved with another man especially where there is a power imbalance. The relationship that develops between the two men helps them heal and be released from the baggage they both carry.
I thought more could have been done with the return of both men’s evil exes but overall a really good read.
