Thank you for sharing your amazing, cost effective and easy to follow recipes with the world!
I have cooked numerous meals from your online videos but having this book has made sticking to a budget and feeding the family, good, wholesome and nutrious meals easy! This has easily become one of our favourite cookbooks and we will be using it for years to come! Looking forward to a second book!

I love this book. The recipes make lovely tasty meals at a budget price; they are also pretty good in nutritional value while allowing for the occasional sweet treat. There are only 2 in our household so I either halve quantities or make the full amount and freeze the rest. Most budget cook books contain a lot of recipes using chickpeas and/or lentils, neither of which I can eat. Not THIS book….not a chickpea in sight, and only 1 recipe involving lentils; this by itself warrants 5 stars from me! The book is laid out well with many great photographs which contribute to the book’s overall appeal. This would also be a good purchase for a student as a group of 4 could combine budget and cook some decent meals to share between them. The price is very fair considering the content. I recommend this book to anyone, whether an experienced cook, someone just getting interested in cooking, or students living away from home for the first time.

The concept is amazing and I love that there are pictures to give an idea of what you are getting. The recipes all seem appealing and not unrealistic, other cookbooks will ask for hard to find ingredients.
However I have both autism and adhd and found some things hard to follow and with no clear timelines. The times are hidden within the instructions, which is fine for some people but I feel I would need to plan the dinner in a few days advance and write down my own time somewhere to ensure I’d be able to do it on the planned day. I know that’s maybe not an issue for everyone but thought to highlight this for other people who may struggle like I did.

Finally found an easy to follow cook book where you will have most of the ingredients in the cupboard. They are items you may even buy during the weekly shop. I mean how many of us have a restaurant style spice rack for example. Not me. I stock lazy garlic and basics ???? super easy to follow and generous portions. Hope you bring out another one with other recipes to try. Thanks again

I have been following Mitch on Instagram for some time, so had to buy his book. I have not been disappointed, the recipies in this book are hearty and comforting. I am not much of a cake maker but I have made a couple of cakes from the book and have been pleased with the results. Easy to follow and clear a good cook book that I have added to my collection. Well done Mitch!

Not sure why some people have said the recipes ain’t healthy? It’s all about balance. In the last few days from this book I’ve done a tasty chicken & rice, veggie Dahl and green pea pasta, all of which contribute to a well balanced diet.
This book is full of great recipes, I guarantee you will find a new favourite go to in this book
You won’t find all his tiktok recipes in here and that’s ok, he’s a chef and he evolves, so I suspect there will be a third book in the future
Well done Mitch.
