The rhyming verse is beautiful. I’ve been on the lookout for a book explaining loss to children and this was perfect. The activities at the end are excellent too!

What a sweet story! It helps children understand what grief is, validates all the different feelings they might go through, and encourages them to see loss and death as a part of life.
It’s very useful for parents and teachers who might need help to support their children through the grief of losing a loved one. Thank you for this amazing book!

Losing a loved one it can be hard to explain to children. This story featuring a loveable sad mouse tells us a story about grief. Another wonderful edition to the “Feeling” books.

This is a very good book for children. After the loss of my own father recently, I think this is a good book to help with grief.
The illustrations are lovely too.
