Fiction Land
From multimillion bestselling Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, Amazon and Audible author RR Haywood, creator of the worldwide bestselling Extracted, and The Code trilogies, the phenomenal Undead Series, and the heart-pounding thriller DELIO PHASE ONE, comes Fiction Land, a laugh-out-loud blockbuster adventure
“Imagine John Wick wakes up in a city full of characters from novels – That’s Fiction Land”
“Brilliant, original, and very funny”
“Haywood writes on another level”
A delivery driver finds himself inside a world occupied by characters from unfinished novels and must accept he is not real. But the world around him doesn’t feel right, and when he starts asking questions, the authorities soon take extreme measures to stop him finding the truth about Fiction Land.
Not many men get to start over.
John Croker did and left his old life behind – until crooks stole his delivery van, but no van means no pay, which means his niece doesn’t get the life-saving operation she needs, and so in desperation, John uses the skills of his former life one last time. While everything he thought he knew starts to unravel.
**Also an outstanding audio production narrated by GOT star, Gethin Anthony. Find it on Audible.**

Another brilliant read from RR Haywood. Love these characters and the book was exciting from the get go. Roll on the next book

Never disappointed by this man, he’s an hilarious genius! Minus one star for the amount of typing errors, sorry but they actually began to annoy me.

Haywood’s usual humour shines through as he affectionately (and accurately!) skewers the different genres, taking down lazy tropes whilst still making you howl with laughter and getting you invested in John’s story and the mystery underpinning it all. AND fitting in little nods to the characters and styles of (I’m guessing) a wide range of his own favourite authors. Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed!

OK, so that took some serious guts – let’s hope there are no lawsuits on their way because I really want to know what happens next.
I enjoyed this – pretty certain I’ve missed a good few references, though. I’m also going to read some Freud and Nietzsche lol.

I’m a third of the way into Fiction Land and feel the need to comment. Another great read from RRH. It starts strongly and just gets better. (No spoilers here) I’m posting this now to get back to the book.
What an absolute riot! Action packed, laugh out loud hilarious and twistier than a really twisty thing. As usual, RRH left me wanting more.

Hooked from the off, as always with RR Haywood’s books. Great story, so much tongue in cheek humour.
Although I was left wondering where all the Daves and Howies ended up…
